Freezing Cookie Dough Balls

What kid doesn't love it when their mom makes them some home made chocolate chip cookies. But it is so hard to find the time to bake. When I do get a chance to make them I always try to double the batch and freeze half of it. I just roll the dough into balls and put them on a cookie sheet and stick them in the freezer for a half hour.

This way the dough doesn't all stick together and you don't end up with one giant ball of frozen dough.
Then throw them in a freezer bag. Make sure you label what kind of cookies (I have tried it with several different kinds) and what temperature and how long to bake them. Also you probably want to put the date as well, just in case they get shoved to the back of the freezer and lost for a while.

Then when you want cookies just take them out and throw them on a cookie sheet and let them thaw out a little and then bake them like normal.
